Engy Al Garf’s work is mainly composed of portraits focusing on introspective emotions and covert inner thoughts. By primarily using found imagery online as reference material, the portraits are created depending on the overall feel; they later evolve to a whole new persona, which is intentionally abstract and fragmented. This ambiguity allows the viewer to narrate his/her own perspective, and create personal associations with the piece.
